Strength. Unity. Moving forward.
On June 26, the Lesya Ukrainka Central Park of Culture and Recreation hosted the Adaptive Sports Day “Strong Side of Ukraine”.
The day brought together war veterans, service members, people with disabilities and everyone who wants to stay active, grow and discover new opportunities.
Participants competed in powerlifting, CrossFit, table tennis, archery, golf, volleyball and pétanque. But the main victory was not the number of medals. It was the atmosphere of support, mutual respect and team spirit.
Adaptive sport is not only about physical ability. It is about strength of character, recovery, new friendships and confidence in yourself.

The event was organized by the NGO “Strong Side” with the support of the “Let’s NGO” team, together with the “Agape Ukraine” Rehabilitation Complex and the international organization Joni and Friends, as part of the “Strong Side of Ukraine” project for veteran communities, with the assistance of the Lutsk City Council.
