In June, the Team of Agape Ukraine made two trips to frontline villages in the Kherson region. During each trip, we delivered 200 food packages, clothing, hygiene products, and medical supplies.
During the first trip (June 12), there was an eerie silence. Later, it became clear that the enemy was moving ammunition into the area. Soon after, heavy shelling began.
By the time of our second trip (June 26), active shelling was already underway. In the village where we were distributing aid, there was a direct strike one person was killed, and two others were severely wounded.
Thanks to the medical supplies and bandages we had provided to local medics, the lives of the two injured residents were saved.
In Kherson, power and water outages are frequent, and the threat of attack is constant. Some local residents have asked us for evacuation assistance, and we are ready to help.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supports and enables these vital trips to Kherson.
