🚐 Trip to the Kherson Region (September 27)
Since July, we have already made five trips to the Kherson region, and we are now preparing for the sixth — a milestone 60th trip!
This time, the mission was especially difficult and dangerous.
We traveled to a village that is under constant shelling, where we had even stayed overnight before (and this time as well).
The people there are in urgent need of help, and we decided to take the risk to deliver it.
Drones are constantly hunting civilians and vehicles, but God protected us, and even that night, during a powerful shelling of Kherson (with 16 guided aerial bombs dropped), we remained close to these people.
Later, the shelling continued with artillery.
💔 The villages are almost isolated:
buses do not run,
state assistance is provided only to displaced persons,
locals receive bread and water once a week, if the situation allows.
📦 Who we helped:
Novokandakhove village — food packages and clothing distributed;
Another frontline village — aid for 70 families, including 22 children.
Children study under shelling: when we arrived with gifts, they were temporarily released from classes to receive assistance, and then returned to their lessons.
Soldiers of the 39th Marine Coastal Defense Brigade — food, clothing, and medical supplies;
Oncology department in Kherson — hygiene supplies, rollators, and walkers;
Bedridden individuals — diapers and care supplies.
The situation in the region is extremely difficult, but people do not lose hope. They thank us for the help and ask us not to forget about them.
Each trip is a risk, but also an opportunity to give people faith, support, and life.
🙏 We sincerely thank everyone who contributed:
the Mennonite Center (representative — Olha Rubel) for financial support,
the “Pereobrazhennia” Foundation of Pavlo Myronyuk for food packages,
and all caring people who support us in this mission.
Together, we can do more 💛💙
