This trip was especially difficult. The night before our departure, artillery thundered nonstop — hardly anyone slept. On the road, we were accompanied by the sound of heavy shelling.
In the morning, we headed to villages in the Kherson region. Our first stop was the village of Halahanivka, where local residents were waiting for us. The people were incredibly grateful for the care and support — we distributed hygiene supplies, clothing, bedding, and other essentials.
The extreme heat and scorched land around us only emphasized the harsh conditions in which these people live. The local representative of the village asked us to help a nearby village as well — one that no volunteers visit and where residents are in great need of food.
There are 70 families living there, and we are already preparing for the next trip — we will bring 70 food packages to that village and 130 hygiene kits to another village. Additionally, people asked us to bring rollators for the elderly who have difficulty walking.
On the way back, our team once again came under shelling. Then, back home in Lutsk, a powerful missile strike began around 1 a.m.
🙏 We are sincerely grateful to everyone who supports these trips. Your prayers, financial help, and encouragement bring real hope and assistance to people in such a difficult time.
