🌸 …28… 🌸
Young and in love, we promised before God to love one another in joy and in sorrow. But just four years later, our marriage faced a serious trial.
An accident. Paralysis. A year and a half within hospital walls…
The hardest part was accepting my own limitations and learning to rebuild our relationship—sometimes through tears and pain.
But God’s mercy and grace prevailed 🙏🏻
We prayed before the Lord:
“God, we do not know how to live дальше, what our future will look like. But we entrust our lives into Your loving hands. Lead us as You will; use us as You desire.”
And God’s mercy and grace prevailed 🙏🏻
The greatest burden in families where there is a person with a disability is routine—daily care, constant tension, and responsibility. That is why I especially value your faithfulness in the small things that repeat day after day.
I value that every night, despite your exhaustion, you wake up to turn me, to help with the necessary procedures.
I value that you care about how I look—you choose my clothes, help with my morning care, and do my hair.
I value how you brew delicious tea, prepare meals, and beautifully arrange them.
I value how, when needed, you carry me up the stairs and help me into the car.
This year’s photo is special. You are kissing my weak hands, which can give so little in return… And it reminds me of the relationship between Christ and His Church. He loved us in our weakness and helplessness, when we had nothing to give Him. And yet Christ faithfully and completely carries out His work in our hearts, in His daily “care” for us.
For He is Love…
Love that believes. ♥️
Love that hopes. ♥️
Love that never fails. ♥️
