The holiday meetings of the Craft and Joy Studios began a series of Christmas events at Fimiam Church.

On Saturday, December 23, volunteers from Agape Ukraine and Fimiam Church organized meetings for children and youth with disabilities and their families.
The invited guests had a wonderful time enjoying the music, beautiful decorations, program, food and, of course, presents. The special thing about these events was that everyone had the opportunity to participate in the program. There were many volunteers to sing and recite poems. The children with disabilities were particularly active.

Pastor Olexander Tkachuk addressed the participants and interpreted the Christmas story in an interesting way. He spoke about how Christmas is God’s tool to “fix” our relationship with Him that was “broken” in the garden of Eden. Just as different devices and relationships with other people get broken, our relationship with God also gets broken. The birth of Jesus Christ made it possible for people to fix their relationships with God and one another.

At the end, all of the children and youth received presents from sponsors, including a bag of fruit, a calendar and a box from Samaritan’s Purse.
